It’s Snowing

I know back in the Midwest where Tracy and I are from this isn’t news – especially when they’re predicting merely 4 inches of snow – but it’s big news here and people are freaking out: stocking up on supplies for days, leaving early, closing schools, etc. It’d take around 3 feet of snow in Iowa to close it down. Granted the hills aren’t often as steep, but mostly it’s just because many – if not most – people here aren’t accustomed to snow. One of our quality assurance guys I’ve been working with said this is the first time he’s seen snow (he’s from Australia).

 

It is pretty on all the evergreens, and somehow the Cascade Mountains seem closer when snow-capped. Very pretty, indeed.

 

I’ll post pictures if I get the chance. Hopefully with all the rain…err, snow…it will be clear enough tomorrow to see the Cascades – maybe even Rainier itself.
